Information Collection and Use

The Application is designed with privacy in mind.

• By default, translation processing is performed locally on your device using Apple Silicon’s Neural Engine and Apple’s Translation framework.
• On-device translation does not require an internet connection. (Note: Certain settings may need to be enabled on macOS.)
• The Application does not collect browsing history, reading activity, or personally identifiable information during on-device translation.
• The Application does not use advertising identifiers or third-party tracking technologies.

Cloud Translation

The Application may optionally offer cloud-based AI translation features. When cloud translation is enabled by the user:

• Only the minimum text required for translation is securely transmitted for processing.
• Translation data is not linked to personally identifiable information.
• Translation content is not stored on our servers after processing.
• Cloud translation is used only when explicitly selected by the user.

Location Information

The Application does not collect precise location information from your device.

Local Files and Content

The Application may access user-selected files, such as images, ZIP archives, or folders, only for translation and reading functionality within the app. These files are processed locally on your device unless the user explicitly enables cloud translation features.

Privacy and Security

We are committed to protecting your privacy. When using on-device translation, processing remains on your device. When using optional cloud translation features, only the minimum required text is securely transmitted for translation processing. We do not sell personal information or use translation content for advertising purposes.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider does not store translation content on its servers after processing. Some translated content or temporary cache data may remain on your device to improve app functionality and performance. This data can typically be removed by deleting the Application or clearing app data where supported.

Children’s Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

ローカルファイルとコンテンツ

本アプリケーションは、アプリ内での翻訳および閲覧機能のためにのみ、画像、ZIPアーカイブ、フォルダなど、ユーザーが選択したファイルにアクセスする場合があります。これらのファイルは、ユーザーがクラウド翻訳機能を明示的に有効にしない限り、お客様のデバイス上でローカルに処理されます。

プライバシーとセキュリティ

当社はお客様のプライバシー保護に努めています。デバイス上での翻訳を使用する場合、処理はお客様のデバイス上で行われます。オプションのクラウド翻訳機能を使用する場合、翻訳処理に必要な最小限のテキストのみが安全に送信されます。当社は個人情報を販売したり、翻訳コンテンツを広告目的で使用したりすることはありません。

データ保持ポリシー

サービスプロバイダーは、処理後に翻訳コンテンツをサーバーに保存しません。アプリの機能とパフォーマンスを向上させるため、翻訳されたコンテンツの一部または一時的なキャッシュデータがデバイスに残る場合があります。これらのデータは通常、アプリケーションを削除するか、対応している場合はアプリデータを消去することで削除できます。

お子様のプライバシー
